Statement

My paintings explore the connection between land, energy, and movement—how things shift, grow, and exist together. I’m interested in the space between stillness and motion, the way forms can feel both rooted and expansive at the same time. Through color fields, organic shapes, and diffused edges, I try to capture a sense of rhythm, like the quiet pulse of the earth or the energy that lingers in a place.

I work intuitively, layering paint and letting the composition unfold over time. Some areas stay solid and grounded, while others reach or dissolve, creating a balance between structure and openness. My goal isn’t to depict specific scenes but to create spaces that feel familiar yet open-ended—places to pause, reflect, and connect.

Each piece has its own presence. I see them as evolving rather than fixed, existing in conversation with one another. Together, they explore movement, connection, and change—like different moments in the same story.
